I'm looking around a bit to find a new laptop. The one I have now is getting old and demented poor thing

My father got an offer via work on an "new model from Acer"; this sweet little thing is appearantly delivered with Windows 7 (64 bit), and a long battery life of up to 8 hrs.

Problem is; I don't know the model name... I only have a few of the spesifications...

Dimentions: 28.5 x 20.4 x 3 cm
Weight: 1.4 kg
System type: Notebook
Prosessor: Intel Pentium SU4100 ULV (Dual-Core)
RAM: 2 GB (installed)/ 4 GB (ma - DDR2 SDRAM - 667 MHz
Harddisc: 320 GB - Serial ATA-150
Screen: 11.6" TFT 1366 x 768 (WXGA)

Now, could this be Acer Timeline 1810TZ??

I use my computer A LOT, and I also need it to be quiet. And have a long battery time. I don't use any demanding programs.

RAFO computer experts - could this be something for me? Anything else I should check out?
Maria

Little?
Me?
Far from it.
I am just large enough.
Fill myself completely
lengthwise and across
from top to bottom.
Are you larger than yourself maybe?

Well, keep in mind that you're talking about a netbook. The screen is only 11.6 inches. - 15/11/2009 03:43:45 PM 338 Views
I'd say it's a small step above a netbook - 15/11/2009 04:09:47 PM 345 Views
Nah, it's not an Atom but a proper CPU *NM* - 16/11/2009 08:14:22 PM 149 Views
My old computer is equally small - 15/11/2009 04:57:56 PM 329 Views
Uhm, did you read the specs on it? - 15/11/2009 05:46:41 PM 374 Views
