some of us like to be available for emergencies. LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 06/11/2009 05:34:13 PM
Who sets their phone so a text wakes them up?

I keep my phone on ring 24/7 (vibrate if I'm at school or a movie or something like that). I purposefully turn it up LOUD at night. Why? Because if someone needs me or if something happens with one of my horses, I want to be woken.

So am I just asking for it?

I really don't think it's too much to ask for people to not text me at 2am anything less than an emergency, request for help, or need-to-know-now info, particularly since I'm well known to be very fond of my sleep.

If you sent the text at a reasonable hour, no, not your bad in the slightest.

If you sent some inane text message at 3 in the morning? Yah. bad on you.

Their fault. If they don't want to be woken, they can bloody well turn their phone off. - 06/11/2009 03:39:51 PM 494 Views
