Although a significant part of me is wondering about said deadbeat kid, how he's really that vile, etc. I don't doubt you, Missa, it just seems like a painful situation for anyone. I guess I always wonder about/have sympathy for such people because I've done some pretty bad things myself.


Their son abandoned his own (innocent) child. I give them tons of credit for forging a relationship with the child's mother and new father to stay connected to and bonded with their grandchild.
