To my knowledge, few Romans thought of Judaism in any way similar to the way modern people view Scientology.
Admittedly, Pliny and Suetonius call Christianity superstitio, but even that doesn't exactly mean "superstition" in the modern sense. Even if it did, that wasn't their opinion of Judaism.
