And speaking of children, it is stunning how many of the most active and loud climate change fanatics are childless or have only one child.

Those with the most to lose because they have more children and thus more love for the future seem the most balanced on this issue.

That could easily be a choice they've made, since the number of people is one reason we're straining the resources the way we are.

As for a more general comment, the attitudes described in here is to me more characteristic of animal rights activists or anti-fascists rather than the environmental movement (coming from a Swedish perspective).
