But I doubt it's the swine flu. Or how did it start for you? With a bang, or slowly like a regular cold or sinus infection?

With a BANG. :P I actually thought it was food poisoning because I had tried (and loved) Indian food for the first time, then that night had severe vomiting, etc. Before that I'd just been a little tired. I think. I'm not very good at reading my body's signs, apparently. Anyway, all the other normal flu stuff started the next day.

Vomiting/GI stuff seems not to be all that common so far, however, so my story might not be the best thing to go off of.

nope, and I hope I won't

Me too, although for most people apparently it's not as bad as regular flu, so if you had to choose...

I choose neither :P maybe I am on the way to another sinus infection, like the last two winters, or maybe I can stop it in time.
only online, I haven't heard of cases in my region yet

nope. but the vaccine is available since Monday now

Both good things. :) Are you planning to get it?

not really. depending on what kinda stuff we film at work I do have more or less contact with people on weekdays, so I am not that paranoid about it right now.
I think it's overblown as far as life threats go, but I still hope I won't get it, because being semi-dead for days is no fun either. How bad is it for you so far?

See my reply to Aemon really - just b/c I don't want to go on too much about my health. :P In short, it seems I had a pretty serious case alright (more so than average), but was too dumb to realize it at the time.

Most importantly, you should be asleep at this time of the day to get better :P

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
