So who else is looking forward to it tonight?
If all goes well it will show the BNP up for what they really are, anyone object to them being on tonight?
I understand that lots of people in the US might not be familiar with Question Time and the BNP, so long story short:

Question Time is a topical debate television programme in the United Kingdom. The show typically features politicians from at least the three major political parties as well as other public figures (such as the odd comedian or racist holocaust denying c*** ) who answer questions put to them by the audience.

The BNP are a racist far right organisation that has recently got some surprise results in the European elections and so the BBC feels the need to allow them to be represented. It has nothing to do with (at all, in any way, nothing, nop, nada, negative, no way in hell) the massive ratings the program will get. The BNP have recently been forced to change their rules on allowing non-whites membership, despite this Asian members using secret recording devices have been denied acceptance into the organisation, the member in charge in one particular case saying they don’t want "your sort".

So do you feel that the BNP should be validated as a political party in this way?
Do they have to be represented because of the election success and the BBC shouldn't try and vet this and jeopardize its stance of neutrality?
Should they be allowed on regardless to expose them for what they are?
Should the goverment post legislation that prevents racist organisations from being on TV like Thatcher did with Sinn Fein?

I dont think I need to make my feelings clear on the BNP, but I am doubtful to the effects either way of them being on Question Time. The general supporter of the BNP doesn't watch Question Time (quoted from the Times) and so it's exposure to potential members will be limited. Of the people who do watch it, they are unlikely to be swayed either way, so what really is the point?
Hopefully he will be exposed and embarrased, but if he isn't most of the people watching will not be bothered because they know what the BNP are about either way.

I've linked the BNP temp website, just incase you want to investigate further.
