Even though I was mentally including you, I was really thinking about Mary and the medicine cabinet.
And I think what I said about the brain thing applies to her as well. It's not so much about what parents do or don't do; life has to get done, so the examples are there either way. But people like you observe and ingest such things, because you are practical and focused on self-sufficiency. People like Mary and me tend to have our heads way off in the clouds.
It's still really, really funny. I gave her something else too... maybe a cheese-slicer? ... that she had never seen before.

that's fine with me. They are trying to convince me I'm paralyzed. They keep pinning the blankets down around my legs or sleeping right on top of me so I wake up thinking I can't move.
