But it is still disturbing to see a grown man cry when you have to let him go. No matter that he did it to himself by blowing a huge opportunity with a client by being late and unprepared. As a member of my team within the company that makes me look bad as well. I still feel bad for having to let him go. .sigh.
if it was his own doing hopefully he will learn from this and do better next time. it sucks but that's how business operates. i know i would have a problem with it no matter the situation but some situations are easier to deal with than others (in my limited experience with people who have been fired at jobs i've worked in the past)
