The response to the quickpoll towards the end of last week about what functionality I should implment over the weekend came down overwhelmingly in favour of Quote of the Moment, so that's what I've patched together.
You can suggest quotes using a handy form that I've made available; don't expect your quotes to be reviewd right away though, because I'll be entering in a whole bunch of old ones from Wotmania to start with.
If you fancy taking a look at all the quotes in the database, you can do that too.
You'll probably notice quite quickly the concept of "Categories". Each quote will be put into a category, and you can choose which categories are displayed by selecting/deselecting the "Quote Category" options in your edit profile page (under the "preferences" section). If you don't select any categories at all, then the entire quote box won't show.
I'm about to update everyone's profile so that all categories are selected by default, just so people are aware of the quotes.
As always, please let me know if there are any bugs or issues with the quotes by filling out a bug notification form.
Wooooo functionality!
