.....AGW is a political/scientific hoax used to generate grant money. BS is BS and it needs to be called-out.
Those things you mentioned are benefical enough to stand on their own.
Those things you mentioned are benefical enough to stand on their own.
Do you have any idea how the scientific community works? Of course AGW is talked about to generate grant money... THAT IS HOW SCIENCE HAPPENS. The experiments and observations continue. AGW became political because after a large range of experiments generated results that indicated that AGW was a strong possibility.
It wasn't perfect, but some people acted on it. Then the Oil companies started reacting by producing their own reports. But unlike the original scientists who were doing it, as you said, for grant money, these guys had paychecks signed by big businessmen, and knew EXACTLY what their bosses wanted to hear.
AGW may yet be proven wrong. That is, again, how science works. The bulk of the political arguing around it is based on populist science, anyway. But none of this is my point.
The proposed methods to combat AGW are ALL steps that we should take, anyway. It has literally no downside. If the proponents of AGW are wrong, then congrats, the world is not on a slippery slope towards becoming an oven. Awesome! Meanwhile, we took a bunch of energy steps we needed to take, anyway.
Of course, if they are right, and we do nothing...
Which sounds like the smarter bet to you... the one with no downside, or the one with no upside?
Eschew Verbosity
Oh...by the way...we may have been wrong about that whole "Global Warming" thing
