All of us act as lurkers from time to time - Edit 1

I do not think they become unlurkified if they still only post whenever they want. This way they will be recognised as something more than just any other user when they take part in the community. They are lurkers and proud of it! :thumbsup Lurker should not be a derogatory term as I find many times it is. :disapprove: Me myself was a lurker for many years and there were reasons such as being afraid of posting among people with loads of forum experience

We should bring to the light the fact that a huge amount of people on the net are only lurkers, they do not post in forums, become members or make themselves heard alot. A very small amount of people do participate but are still not considered to be active participants. Therefore people who take a very small part in the community on any site is still considered to be a "lurker"

I want them to make their voices heard through this method.
