Sounds to me like a permissions or file system error. Does the computer you're trying to view the files on have the same operating system as the one that put the files on the stick? If so, then like callandor said, it could be a permissions problem. You'll want to log onto an administrator account and change the folder permissions, I believe. You'll have to google for more info on that, if no one else has a better idea.
