Panera has a great steak & arugula sandwich, though given your seeming aversion to vegetables you might not be a fan.

I only order grilled cheese in diners, or luncheonettes. They pretty much make it the homeade way. I should have thought of that distinction before the Panera experiment. Even Quick Check couldn't really get grilled cheese right.
