Why did 50 sponsors drop him? random thoughts Send a noteboard - 21/04/2017 05:47:25 PM

They were being threatened with boycotts. That is all they cared about. We don't get this same level of reaction and that's of boycotts when it is Liberal being accused. Hell the a academy awards have a Oscar to a child rapist and the people defending him were not boycotted. The offended are more motivated by the offender than the offense.

The question isn't what the motivation of the companies was but what was the motivation of those threatening them is. Maybe I am a cynic but I see no reason to believe their motivation was derived more from their disgust and his mostly unknown offenses and a wealth of reasons to think it wad his views and their attitude about his network. If I am right about their motivation, and we know I'm not, then it is censorship plain and simple. It doesn't even matter if he is guilty, it certainly doesn't matter to those threatening boycotts.
