It's a husk after we've died. But I think you have to be there, be the one hacking it up to understand how...disturbing it is, to remove a skull from the spine, or to remove a leg. You know, intellectually, that it's just a body. But at the same time it can be hard to reconcile that thought with the fact that it used to be a living, breathing human. And like I said, some of what we end up doing is pretty violent and grotesque. We saw and hammer and chisel our way through the body. And clearly, this woman wanted us to learn, she wanted her body to do good. But sometimes, I can't help but wonder if she would make the same decision if she knew exactly what that entailed.
