- If I was a betting person... (or any similar failure to use the subjunctive)
- Attempts to make non-existent verbs out of nouns
That and cuz.
I'm back teaching middle school boys in a residential treatment program for emotional/behavioral disorders. I recently learned there that "finessing" really means to lie and manipulate people to get something like more snacks or an MP3. The slang here is...interesting.
