Decent newspapers:
- Guardian/Observer (left)
- Financial Times (mainly economic, centre-right - like the WSJ basically)
- The Times (right)
Still relatively ok:
- The Telegraph (right)
Tabloid trash:
- Daily Mail (right)
- Daily Mirror (left)
- Daily Express (right)
- The Sun (whatever's most popular at any given time)
My impression is that the Daily Mail, while focusing far too much on gossip to be taken seriously as a newspaper, is at least somewhat less stupid in its political articles than the others in that category. But I could be wrong - I certainly don't read them enough to do a proper comparison.
