She will be ready for the Hobbit way before she is ready for Star Wars.


With the Hobbit I was referring to the book, she will never be old enough to subjected to the movie. The LOTR movies are years off as well.

Just a word of warning, modern books are much faster paced and focused. My daughter who consumes books at a shocking rate never liken Tolkien or pretty much any of the books from my youth I tried to get her to read. The only real exception was The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
