View original postI grew up in NYC. I know what Pizza is and what Pizza can be. If there is cheese under sauce then it prevents the cheese from becoming perfection. When you deny perfection, you deny pizza!

I've had NY pizza. Boring!* Gimme a shovel and a Chicago pizza any day. It's so heavy I can eat it and do cardio at the same time.

*That's totally a lie, but it seemed appropriate at the time.

There is literally no better pizza out there, despite what Cannoli may believe about NJ pizza. Give me a cheese slice I have to fold in half in a Brooklyn pizza parlor The kind of place with orange formica booths. Ah, heaven. Sprinkle a little garlic, oregano and parmesan on top.

Also, white slices are amazing. Mozarella cheese with circles of ricotta (I had a bit of a tomato allergy growing up so I had to eat white pies for about a decade).

And how is NJ pizza that different? Isn't NJ just a couple of miles away? Across that 'turnpike' or something?

Yankee pizza is yankee pizza, isn't it?

Educate me, chora 8l
