You can try and claim that the taps were legal and/or justified, but you can NOT deny that there were taps.
Sure you can, because they WERE NOT: Checking a server in another STATE to see if anyone who WORKED FOR you got illegal ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFERS from foreign spies is not listening in on every call you make from your office. That is even assuming the anonymous source his/herself is telling the truth on that much.

The only TRANSCRIPTS OF CALLS that were leaked were taps on RUSSIAN phones, which Flynn called to illegally discuss lifting sanctions when he was just a private citizen and Trump not even president. And yeah, if you call a mafia don there is a good chance the tap on HIS phone will record YOUR conversation with him, but that does not mean anyone tapped YOUR phone, only that you CALLED a criminal, whose phone was justifiably tapped. This whole "I called the KGB and the evil US government recorded it because they tapped all the KGBs phones" schtick is getting old:
Just stop calling mortal US enemies to offer them illegal favors in exchange for rigging the election in YOUR favor and there is no problem.
