It was a long, long journey for most of us. For me, I started reading WOT in 1995 as a 20-year old undergrad. Living at home, not a care in the world. I found and joined Wotmania in 2001 or 2002. I was back in school, full-time MBA program, still living at home, and still not a care in the world.
Since Wotmania became a regular part of my life, 15 years have passed. That's a long time, you live life in 15 years! I am now 42 years old, married to a remarkable woman, father to 4-year old daughter that is pure love, and mayor of my hometown.
I have always enjoyed checking in on RAFO after a long day - work is over, dinner done, daughter sleeping. I will miss this so much. But as Q said, all good things must come to an end.
Let's make the next month and change special!
I think I joined Wotmania around 2000 / 2001, returning to live at home after battle with bipolar disorder and university, starting to work in department stores.
Bit quiet at first on the website, but got more involved, especially with the chat channel, eventually getting to know my now wife through chat
So now, married over 12 years, 3 children (9, 7 and 5), in a good manager role, and life is going well I miss Wotmania and the chat channels, but have enjoyed readandfindout and some of the discussions / arguments here, and so will miss this site too.
