That's touches on something that I just don't understand.... Jeordam Send a noteboard - 17/11/2016 09:18:55 PM

I've read about how people were excused from attending class or taking tests. I know of someone who called in "sick" from the election. I've read on the news how some people have been so distraught that they cannot function.

I don't understand.

Are their lives so....stable?...coddled?....without consequence?...that they can suspend their regular activities and not have a consequence stem from it?

Is there not the realization that life will not always go your way, but part of being an adult is dealing with your issues, and continuing on?

Maybe I'm just old.
