In this case, this Youth Pastor royally screwed up. The church that he worked for also screwed up by not having safeguards and procedures to ensure that their closeness wasn't allowed to happen. One such example would be that he would never be alone with the girl (or any student for that matter). Since he's married, his wife would make a natural additional to any person he was counseling or whatever.....
It sucks...but being a pastor makes you no more or less human then the rest of us.
