I'm torn and I have some questions Danu Send a noteboard - 03/10/2009 10:53:40 PM
On the one hand I think there is a place for centralized government, but I also believe there is a place for small government. There needs to be a mixture of both.

People need to feel they have a say in what their government does.

Here in the U.S. there is the Federal Government and State governments.

Every person of voting age has the right/obligation to vote/have a say in the running of their state and (I believe, to a lesser extent) the running of the federal government.

I see it as two side by side, yet overlapping/superimposed pyramids, one pyramid right side up with the individual at the bottom, the other upside down with the individual at the bottom.
In the former the individual gets a less direct vote, while in the latter a more direct vote.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this anymore...

Okay, how much say will the individual have in the running of the EU?

What are the pros and cons for Sean Hart? How much will his vote count? How much say will he have?

Why should he be for the LT and would he be against it?

Why would he be for or against his country being in the EU?
