I've never liked the main-branch of either big-party. I'm aware of the sub-sects and groups that branch from them but don't find them appealing either - they are just more extreme than their parent-party. I'm way too middle of the road for either party really.
It's just the common stereotypes to which the big 2 have worked the election cycles in my experience/ages past seems to have switched now.
Again, not looking to argue what "my views" are - more take in the contrast of how stark it is to me as an independent that the parties really have switched their Modus Operandi without anyone batting an eyelash really.
