Winter is now the warm season. So I should expect SNOW in July then?

Democrats are being undemocratic and trying to ride a non-progressive to victory in the White House (caring more about getting there than how) - all while marginalizing a portion of their own liberal/progressive base through debate scheduling and inner party politics. This is usually how the Republicans do things.

Republicans are now pushing a non-elitist (politically speaking), non-party outsider into the forefront and denying what has been a GOP staple of backing the same-ol'-same-ol' party cronies. Mighty progressive of the GOP - have they been learning from grass roots liberals?

Republicans want an outsider with radical notions and pie-in-the-sky ideas who'll promise anything to get elected but cannot truly deliver.

Democrats desperately want a Washington insider who will continue Washington as it is - they want to maintain the status quo while still appearing to favor progressive staples without getting results (aww shucks - snaps fingers and furrows brow Sorry folks!).

It feels like the Earths polarity changed (North is now South and vice versa) ...

I may for the first time be forced to look into either a write-in (don't remember if that's possible on the NY ballot) or a third tier ... errm, party ... yeah, third party candidate.

I'd say I'll be glad when November has come and gone (just so the coverage can end) - but I've learned since the last one - there is no more end to the campaign season/partisan sniping - it's all year round events now (for media and activists alike).

Might have to move back up to Canada at this rate ... hope I didn't toss away my Maple Syrup mug, they might not let me back in if I don't have it on my person.

Sigh, hating that we aren't even out of primary season yet ... can't wait for the General Election to roll up on us like a tidal wave of endless garbage.

P.S. Not sure why I posted this, but I've seen way too much political discussion and coverage lately ... and frankly I hit my quota/limit early last year ... so maybe this is just my own little cry for help - someone pls pls wipe out all the candidates and lets start from scratch ... can't be worse.
