He has no real plan for anything. All he can do is talk loudly and obnoxiously. While some of his points have appeal in the Republican base, he doesn't really say much about how he would change anything, or why we should trust someone with no experience whatsoever to be able to operate in Washington. Voters may not like to watch the sausage made, so to speak, but that doesn't mean Trump can make it any better than anyone else.
I think when it comes time for people to cast their votes in the primaries Trump will not carry through. Some people like to hear him be politically incorrect because we're so sick of the Indignation Machine, but when it comes time to actually pick someone no one with a brain will pick Trump.
I still like Rubio best, Bush second best, and Christie third. I did initially like Walker but he's just like a cold fish in terms of presentation. Kasich and Graham are good but don't have a chance, the rest are just terrible choices for one reason or another.
He is far and away the most qualified candidate on EITHER side, at least until Biden jumps in (maybe somewhat so even then.) Two decades in Congress, where he basically wrote the GOP counteroffer that merged with Clintons budget to produce the only BALANCED budget since LBJ. Then two terms as governor of a diverse, populous moderate state. No more choice between governors who cannot legislate and legislators who cannot govern. I might (probably would) not like what he did, but it is hard to doubt he would do it VERY well. I do still love that "I am willing to work with unions that make things" line.
