Ours are actually good.
View original postVenison in dark beer? that sounds interesting but sorry the proper condiment for freedom fries is tomato syrup.
Eh, we don't discriminate. Any fries place worth its salt (pun intended, and yes, we have places whose main food on offer is fries - tons of them) will have the whole list to pick from, ketchup included.
View original postYou have a recipe for venison in a beer sauce? Mt dad has a freezer full of venison and since he is out of town I have a key it might be a good time to try it.
Can't say I'm much of a cook or that I've ever tried to make it myself. But I just Googled "venison Belgian beer" and came across tons of recipes - be it for carbonnade, which is a traditional dish (didn't even realize that was its English name), or for other dishes. The linked one is just one example which amused me because it's based on elk, and of course American - if there's one thing you can say about American cuisine, it's that it's creative about adapting the food and recipes it steals from everybody else. That goes for the beer and chocolate too, really - even if the mainstream stuff is crap, there's great innovative variations to be found, much more than here where tradition remains so strong.
Alright, Paul. Where is that gumbo review?

Try to get a restraining order against it, or have yourself put in protective custody.

Not a whole lot of American mayonnaise is edible. No wonder so many here find it disgusting. *NM*
