View original postGhavrel and Random Thoughts will be happy to know that Paul/Legolas has been force-fed what appeared to be relatively authentic gumbo (I did not try it, but it was dark and seemed to have most of the right basic ingredients). He's supposed to provide an objective* report on this experience.


View original postWell, whatever the reasoning, this Belgian did think the gumbo was pretty damn tasty, and looks forward to eating more cajun food. We were not able to determine precisely how long it had taken to prepare it, so I couldn't say whether they had really respected the three hours minimum requirement for preparing it... but however long it took, I recommend it.
