By this argument Tim Tebow is better than most of the QBs int he NFL. Do you believe that is true?

View original postIn your responses in this thread, especially to Cannoli, you seem to indicate a preference for a QB who can lose with style over one who can win. That's fine. But for those of us who think the score is the only important stat, Eli Manning is objectively a better QB than Tony Romo.

Teams not players have win loss records, players have stats and Romo is superior is just about any stat you can name but he thumps Eli in the key TD to INT ratio. The key play in the GB Seattle game was the on-side kick when neither QB was on the field. If the neither QB took part in the key play of the game then it seems pretty hard to argue that either QB decided the game. Rodgers lost in overtime without ever touching the ball, is that because Rodgers failed? Hell until the last 5 min Seattle's punter had thrown more touchdowns than Wilson. Is Wilson a better QB than Rodgers? He damn sure wasn't for 90% of the game.

For the time period Romo has been playing he has more come from behind wins then any QB in the league and that tells us more about his defense and their inability to hold onto a lead then it does about Romo good or bad. But hey if you want to go with win loss even though it make no sense to judge a QB or any other player by that then go ahead. Romo has a better win loss percentage than Eli.
