At least he has never thrown an interception in the end zone on his team's last play of a playoff game, to a backup cornerback in a second-rate secondary, in a game he was heavily favored to win. Football stats are bullshit, and any self-respecting scientist would laugh his ass off at the idea of people using those numbers to assess ability. Every baseball hit was obtained by a player standing in the same part of the field, performing the exact same action, against almost the same defense as every other. You cannot remotely say that every football yard or touchdown is the same thing or obtained under almost identical conditions. Football stats are talking points, not proof of anything.
