Greg didn't say that nothing should be preserved. He didn't even come close to saying that or hint at that. He said you can't save everything (nor should you). Nothing would get built. Major cultural landmarks can and should be preserved. Bradbury's house was nothing special or even, from what I saw, moderately pleasing to the eye. It was just another fucking cheap American box house. The fact that a guy who wrote a few middling books lived there is no reason to keep an eyesore for all perpetuity. It's not architecturally or historically significant enough to warrant that. If Bradbury's residency was enough to save it, Greg is right - the world would be overrun with undemolishable shit.
