You have the same sort of saunas that they have in Russia, but cleaner. You have birch trees everywhere and it's cold as all Hell. The houses are built in a similar manner, but better and more well kept. Your streets are in good repair. You have a pretty Orthodox Cathedral (Uspensky) in the center of Helsinki that was never destroyed, ruined or defaced by communist scum, and near it you've got a wonderful statue to Tsar Alexander II. Many of the older buildings have a building style similar to that used in St. Petersburg. Everything is in immaculate condition and yet it looks a lot like Russia. So yeah, it looks like what Russia would look like if Germans ran it.

That's true, yeah. Helsinki was actually used as St.Petersburg in a lot of cold war era movies because it looked close enough but was much easier to get to and film in.
