The last I had seen on the news that day, was he was a suspected terrorists. My apologizies. Agreed, Not a terrorist. Poor man. And Poor Soldier. Ugh. Mr. Harper begged for help, and maybe in the wrong way, and it had to come to that extreme. The average person really should educate themselves more on mental illness. I work in the mental field, and even they have issues with the mentally ill, making snide comments. As if someone CHOOSES to have this kind of illness. To never know if what you are hearing is real, or what you are seeing is real. It is a terrifying feeling. at one point I was diagnosed as Bi-polar, possibly Schizophrenic...then magically down graded to non specific mood disorder. But I was on an assortment of psyche meds, which made me feel even crazier than I was afraid I was. Constantly asking my family, if they were hearing what I heard, or saw things I saw, b/c Iwas terrified it wasn't real. Once I lost my insurance and was weaned off the psyche meds, My brain cleared up. I still have anxiety issues. But I'm pretty "normal" as of now.
Can we talk about something less traumatic? Slightly more happy and encouraging?
