I know my answer doesn't fir the way you insist the scandal should be framed but that really isn't relavent. Now I was drunk when I typed it so please let me know if there are any parts that are giving you trouble.
I'm glad to know you were drunk when you wrote that, because I didn't want to falsely accuse you of such. Even still, I see nothing in your reply which suggests anything remotely approaching what the "scandal" in the handling of Benghazi truly is. Most of what I have read on the subject shows the timelines in the way they unfolded, and the only thing I can see is that apparently there were problems with the way the original assessment was presented to the press. A presentation, I might add, which was given before a formal investigation was even started, much less completed. As such, I would not expect the initial assessment to be 100% factually correct.
For Republicans to continue to fixate on this alleged scandal when they have turned up no concrete evidence of any kind of cover up or scandal is, quite frankly, completely irresponsible governing. Especially in light of the fact that multiple Republicans are using the tragedy as a source of fundraising from their base. But if you have a way of presenting what is factual and explaining why this particular scenario is worthy of an eighth investigative committee I would truly like to know what it is. Because from what I can tell, there is literally nothing more to see because the previous seven hearings have pretty well covered the entirety of the timeline involved.
