And I have to admit, I'm not very happy with the way they've handled the recall for my car. I got a letter in the mail stating that it was under recall, but they don't currently have the necessary part in for replacement yet. Jump to three weeks later: I called the dealer to see when they thought they'd get the part in, since I need to drive cross-country soon and I'm totally sketched out to take my car on the highway.

Their reply? "Oh, you need to schedule an appointment AND THEN WE'LL ORDER THE PART FOR YOU." (Emphasis mine)

They're still trying to save themselves money by not actually ordering the parts unless drivers specifically ask them to. Really ticked me off.
