Of course, the problem with that is that you would have to really apportion Poland based on whether the territory from which an athlete comes was part of the German Empire.

Justyna Kowalczyk (Gold, cross country) - Russian Empire (from Limanowa)
Zbigniew Brodka (Gold, speed skating) - Russian Empire (from Glowno)
The silver and bronze for the speed skating teams is harder and I'm not going to look up where each person came from, but the point is that the Russian Empire should not only get Finland, but also Poland's four gold medals at a minimum.
