Now would be a great time for President Obama to admit that two superpowers aren't going to go to war to stop the other from doing something. And in that spirit, he should go back to a very forward leaning posture with placing ballistic missile defense systems in Poland contrary to Russia's protests. The Russians really don't have a leg to stand on, especially now that they have ostracized themselves politically. Plus, with Russia invading neighbor states, its a great time to get global support for setting up a shield between Europe and Russia.
