The one that said "Anchorage: +11.8°", right next to the "unusually mild" in huge letters all over the western part of the country? That's a much bigger deviation from the average than the ones listed for Chicago or New Orleans, but in the opposite direction.
So yeah. You may want to reconsider that "entire" part. And as kHz pointed out, in most (though again not all) of Europe the winter is being unusual in much the same way as in Alaska: unusually mild.
What happened to Global Warming? We just had the coldest month in a decade.
