Other than Snowden, the Pope, and Kanye West, I don't recognize any of the names of the list, and I have absolutely no idea what Kanye West has been doing to earn a place in their company. As for the Pope, my response is a resounding meh. I'm an atheist, so half of me is actually unhappy that there is now a Pope saying all the right things and seemingly leading Catholicism into the 21st century, since it will mean fewer people turning to atheism/agnosticism. The other half of me thinks that everything he's doing is essentially public relations, and being a godless (and somewhat ignorant) atheist, I don't know what else his job description entails and why his ability to do this part of it well should be so surprising or inspiring.

And to note, I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just explaining my train of thought, and I fully recognize that these are just my opinions and that I lack the information necessary to form good ones.
