I don't read The Guardian. More of an Economist person myself. But in this particular case, I think revealing the scope of the surveillance state created by two authoritarian (with Obama being far more authoritarian than Bush) presidents has been good for both the country and the world.

I'm still quite divided by Snowden.

He said out loud what many have suspected for some time. But something about it still bothers me.

I'm just happy knowing what is going on. And why I consider Snowden a patriot. I do hope his actions lead to more transparancy and greater strength of our Republic. Even if I can't do anything about the spying. I'm fine with spying - within the rules of the law.

I mean, even in today's NYT, there was an article about the infiltration of the online gaming community by the NSA. Just eye-opening to see how far the surveillance has gone.

World of Warcraft? More like World of Spycraft.
