A household without at least one adult capable of brewing good coffee is an unhappy house. Indeed, it is one in which one or both of the adults is content to see the other drive to work decaffeinated, unready to perform the labors that feed the family at an optimal level, unless they stop for coffee along the way, and even then a hazard to themselves and others. What then can we say about a spouse who cares so little for their partner that they'd inflict inferior coffee upon them and damage their productivity and indeed their life? Little good surely.
