I realize the irony, as this is considered a social media site, but the narcissism that I complained about around here a few years ago is nothing compared to the blatant self-promotion machine that is Facebook and the brain damaging idiocy that is Twitter.
I am on Facebook primarily to stay in touch with friends I would not otherwise interact with, and I avoid Twitter like the fucking vomitous shitheap it is.
If it were up to me, people would consider learning to write actual physical letters and send them to friends after some deliberation and thought.
