Seriously, I think it is a serious case of wanting to have ones cake and eat it, too. It's why I have always respected the Catholic Church's view on pro-lifeness, no abortion, no death penalty. I don't always agree with how it works, but at least they strive to be consistent. It'd be nice if they went no guns, as well, but then they'd probably be facing an all knew Protestant movement from their North American Conservatives.
