Which is as important as stands on issues. New issues, new evidence can arise to change stands or the need for new stands. A man with good judgement can make those changes. A man with so lacking in judgement? I'd trust him not one bit. Hell, just look at Obama. Damookster and I told everyone here he was an empty suit. But, he said the correct soothing words and got voted in anyway. Do you actually trust HIS judgement? I certainly do not.

For Weiner, puritanical has nothing to do with it. Needs some common sense and an understanding of basic acceptable behavior among one's constituents is more like it.
