View original post1. Should eating insects become the next big thing in Western food culture?
View original postNo. How would they rank above olives?
Depends. Are we talking about some nice kalamata olives or raw olives that have been painted black?

View original post2. How do you make insects an appealing food choice?
View original postChocolate.
I read an article that said Dutch chocolate producers are concidering adding dried and powdered mealworms to their products. I'm pretty sure it won't actually happen but they've thought about it, at least.

View original post3. Will we all be eating insects in the future? When will this happen?
View original postPossibly - after the apocalypse. Based on the evidence, I feel reasonably certain I could keep insects alive. I'm not so sure about cows.

View original post4. What argument could be made against eating bugs?
View original postSurely you jest?
Well, other than "it's gross". But it's being lauded as the sustainable and economic option, I just wondered if there was more to it than that.

View original post5. What conventional foods could be “upgraded” with the addition of insects?
View original postI'm pretty sure this is already happening. I'm sure I saw a program that featured all sorts of insect dishes that actually sounded reasonable*.
