Interestingly the words "at first glance" do not appear in your message, don't try to rewrite stuff literally on the same page as the original. Quote yourself and explain how, contrary to what you wrote and your past history, it was not an angry attack.
Why? There's no content to rebut, you were just ranting in a petty fashion. I could as easily have said, "Its hard to see how liberals could be patriotic, they're always trying to say how we should be more European"
Another silly, empty, partisan remark. Difference being I know it is, Europe's full of democracies and bound to inevitably produce both good and bad ideas some of which we can adapt to our benefit, any idea should be judged on its merits, not its provenance. But there's the difference, I'm partisan, like you, but it doesn't blind me, and it does you, so if you insist on going into this you'll end up losing. You're going to be arguing - venting really - that conservatives are unpatriotic. I, on the other hand, will be arguing that patriotism is a hard quantity to measure and fundamentally a private matter, except insofar as there's nothing wrong with displaying one's love of country or one's complaints about one's country, nor anything wrong about having love of country and a laundry list of complaints... Do you actually think you're going to win that debate?
