While it is no secret that you and I do not always get along ideologically, nothing but prayers and wishes for you in this. My little sister was a foreign adoption and an absolute nightmare for the first year, but once she had acclimated (and realized my father was far more easily manipulated with a sweet smile than with anger) she became what she is now, my sister, full stop.

It's not an easy ride, but it is worth it.

Again, blessings both for safe travels, and for the much longer journey you have started on.
