I mean I'm not sure if I'd have made the connection if the word Hitler wasn't right over it in the article, kind of biases it, but yeah, Diese Teekanne sieht wie Hitler aus.

It is ridiculous, they certainly shouldn't have needed to apologize, but once the thought is in people's heads they'll see it so they were right to take it down I'd say. That's not an association I'd want to make, even if people didn't point a finger which would be ridiculous there's going to be some subconscious association that's not likely to be beneficial.


Yeah. I tried to figure out how to link just the image in case people weren't familiar with the story so as not to color their perception, but it took me more than 10 seconds and I got lazy

I agree about the subconscious association (especially after the story erupted).
